Сочи.Sochi.Sotchi

I definitly decided to go to Sochi at the end of my trip in Russia.I didn't want to go because of the crowds of the new, rich Russians and all the concrete blocks which grow on the shore of the black sea.

But I think it's very worth it at least because of its location with the Caucasus Mountains behind it .(Sochi will be the host city of the 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games)

I had been told that the hotels there are very expensive but I found one on the net and it's really cheap.

18 days remain until I leave and now time drags on and goes slow.As Willie says "I can't wait..."

On the road again...Just can't wait to get on the road again....On april 29...

Dans un mois c'est le grand depart et le bonheur de partir.
La premiere etape si je me leve assez tot le matin sera Pilsen en republique Tcheque.J'y avais dormi il y a deux ans lors de mon periple dans les pays de l'Est.C'est une tres belle ville.
Il y a de Perouges a Pilsen un peu moins de 1000 kms.
In one month it will be the great departure.
If I wake up early in the morning I'll be in Pilsen( Czech republic)at night.There are about 700 miles between Perouges and Pilsen.It is a beautiful town.I slept there two years ago when traveling in the Eastern countries.

On the next day I'll drive to Lozdzieje (also spelled Lazdijai)in Lithuania.This is a former shtetl from where Bruce's mother's father Harry Abels (formerly Abelsky) came from.I'll visit also another little place called Kalvarija very close to Lozdzieje where his grandfather's cousins lived.
There's about 700 miles from Pilsen to Lazdijai.
Le jour suivant je partirai pour Lozdzieje(qui s'ecrit aussi Lazdijai)en Lithuanie.C'est un ancien shtetl d'ou venaient le grand pere maternel de Bruce,Harry Abels(Abelski).Je visiterai aussi un petit village ou les cousins du grand pere de Bruce vivaient.
Ensuite je prendrai la direction de Vinius.
Then I'll go to Vilnius.

I still don't know if I'll drive out of Ukraina in Poland(route 1)(I already drove from Kiev to Lvov)or in Moldavia(route 2).I'll decide there.
Je ne sais pas du tout si je sortirai d'Ukraine par la Pologne(route1)(j'ai deja fait ce parcours en voiture) ou par la Moldavie(route 2).Je deciderai sur place.Sortir par la Pologne m'obligera a faire le meme parcours qu'il y a trois ans quand je suis partie pour Auschwitz mais je pourrai retourner au camp et revisiter Cracovie.

The village of Darovoe,that Dostoievski's father bought in 1831. A year later he bought the hamlet of Cheremoshna."For four months every year, Dostoevsky would go with his mother and brother to the country - a journey that liberated him from the moods of his father. In Darovoe, Dostoevsky experienced what he would later call "a happy and placid childhood."

Darovoe is situated 160 kms south of Moscow and 80 kms from Riazan in Zaraiski district,province of Moscow.(from Zaraysk to Monogarovo (destination Zhuravna or Serebryanye Prudy)

Музей находится в селении Даровое, которое было приобретено отцом Ф.М.Достоевского для летнего отдыха семьи. Даровое - живописный уголок Подмосковья. Рядом с музеем небольшой лесной массив, который в память о писателе до наших дней называют "Фединой рощей". Экспозиция расположена в деревянном флигеле, принадлежавшем когда-то Достоевским.

And Starya Russa at the begining of my trip.Dostoievski wrote there "Brothers Karamazov".The village is situated near Novgorod.It will be my first step in Russia.
